From the west to the east is the translation of the Latin heading. This blog is dedicated to my journeys from the west to communion with the Eastern Orthodox Church which received me back in Pascha of 2006. This blog is intended to spur discussion, civil discussion, about Orthodoxy and perhaps those inquiring into the faith may find something here. Behold, my son

I became a proud father today. My son came into this world at 1:55 pm and weighs 8 lbs, 15 ozs and is 21 inches long. Wife and I have yet to decide on a name but will do so soon. Prayers are requested for my wife who went through a C-section and is still recovering. Thanks.
